Hydrogel Dressing Instructions for use

After using sterile water or a saline solution to thoroughly clean the wound and its surroundings, Take the dressing out of its container. To ensure HEALER® HG dressing covers the whole burn or wound, cut it to the appropriate size using sterile, sterylized scissors.Gently remove the dressing backing and place the dressing over the burn or wound. Wrap and secure the dressing in place with a bandage or adhesive tape.

Hydrogel Dressing Product functionality

The highly conformable and moisture-vapor-permeable HEALER® HG Hydrogel Dressing is often recommended for dry wounds or wounds with little exudate. In order to facilitate debridement and produce a moist wound healing environment, it can hydrate dry wound beds and soften and release slough and necrotic wound tissue. It has also been demonstrated that hydrogel dressings lower wound bed temperatures and encourage granulation.

Indications

Amorphous Hydrogel Dressing is used to heal minor injuries including small burns, cuts, abrasions, partial thickness wounds, and skin rips by creating a moist wound environment. Amorphous Hydrogel Dressing is used to address the following conditions by creating a moist wound environment under the supervision of a healthcare provider: Venous ulcers (leg ulcers)
1. cuts made during surgery
2. ulceration on the diabetic foot
3. Complete Thickness Injuries
4. Pressure sores, especially those in stage IV
5. helps autolytic debridement of wounds coated with necrotic tissues by creating a moist wound environment.

Instructions for use

After using sterile water or a saline solution to thoroughly clean the wound and its surroundings, gently pat dry the surrounding skin. HEALER® HG the wound bed should be covered with hydrogel. If necessary, secure with a secondary dressing.

HEALER® HG Amorphous Hydrogel Dressing can absorb and remove slough and exudate while gradually rehydrating necrotic tissue to aid in autolytic debridement. Additionally, it can be used to provide the ideal moist wound-management environment throughout the closing phases of the wound.
