Silver Calcium Alginate Dressing

After using sterile water or a saline solution to thoroughly clean the wound and its surroundings, gently pat dry the surrounding skin. Choose the HEALER® SA appropriate dressing size for the region of the wound. To take out the dressing, carefully open the sterile pouch. If calcium alginates are being used, a secondary dressing is required. Use sterile scissors to cut the dressing and tape if necessary. To prevent harming the surrounding skin, moisten the dressing with sterile water or a saline solution before adhering it to the wound.
